Cookie policy

Two kinds of cookie at most, and one of them only when analytics is switched on.

1.What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file the browser stores for a website. Sites use cookies to remember who is signed in and, sometimes, to measure how they are used.

2.Strictly necessary

  • adps_session: keeps you signed in to the doctor portal. Set only when you sign in, removed when you sign out, and expires after seven days. Without it the portal cannot work, so it does not require consent.

3.Analytics

When Google Analytics is configured for this site, it sets cookies (for example _ga) to distinguish visitors and measure page views and conversion events such as case submissions and contact form use. IP addresses are anonymised. When analytics is not configured, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookie is set.

4.What we do not use

  • Advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Cookies set by social networks through embedded content.

5.Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out of the portal. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect the site.
